The Importance Of Recommended Maintenance

Most car owners know that for a vehicle to stay healthy it must have regular maintenance done. Recommended maintenance can be anything from an oil change, coolant flush, tire rotation, or even refilling your tires with air. However, a lot of the time we can forget about those simple steps because life can get busy. Having your vehicle serviced and inspected periodically is a good way to extend its life and keep it operating efficiently. That is why here at Benny Boyd Copperas Cove, we are dedicated to helping you remember these maintenance tasks in order to keep your vehicle running smoothly.

Regularly Keep Up With These Maintenance Recommendations

Oil Change

Our expert technicians here at Benny Boyd Copperas Cove recommend that you schedule an oil change every 3 months, or 5,000-8,000 miles. Need an oil change? Benny Boyd Copperas Cove has you covered. Stop by and we’ll get you taken care of.

Tire Rotation

Rotating your tires means moving them from one side of the vehicle to the other, moving them from front to back, or a combination of both. This helps avoid uneven tire wear, which can lead to poor performance and decreased gas mileage. Here at  Benny Boyd Copperas Cove our specialists recommend that you get your tires rotated every 3,000-6,000 miles (5,000km-10,000km) to keep them in the best shape possible.

Tune Ups

Normal vehicle usage causes various parts of your engine to lose their efficiency because of under-the-hood temperature and vibration. Regular tune-ups help maintain vehicle safety and performance by ensuring that worn or faulty parts are replaced promptly. Also, tune-ups can help you achieve maximum fuel efficiency and vehicle performance.
